Investigating the Relationship Between Medical History and General Health Status of Bank Workers With Voice Handicap Index and Vocal Fatigue Index

Background and Objectives: The present study examined the relationship between total score of voice handicap index (VHI) scores three factors vocal fatigue (VFI) with medical history Melli bank workers working in Tehran Kurdistan privences. Methods: research is a descriptive-analytical cross-sectional that was conducted on 444 clerks Bank branches Iran (76% male 24% female mean age 42.3). A demographic questionnaire, checklist, Persian version VHI VFI were used to collect data. Results: had significant neurological (P=0.030) head neck (P=0.048) disorders, speech language disorders (P=0.001), reflux (P=0.041). Regarding index, (P=0.006) (P<0.001); first factor diseases (P=0.018), pharynx larynx (P=0.005) second (P=0.020), (P=0.006), (P<0.001), allergies (P=0.032), finally, third (0.044), (P=0.031), (P=0.044), (P=0.021). Conclusion: Regardless respiratory system, suffering from system can have effect indices. Meanwhile, problems affect most VFI.
